Ten years after Linklaters hired the first law firm Pricing Director,
more than 100 law firms have recognized the need for Pricing leadership.

The appointment of a law firm Pricing Director in May 2008 was a pebble that sent ripples across the legal industry for several years. In 2014 the heightened attention turned the ripples into waves, leading to four consecutive years of double-digit growth, which included the introduction of the law firm Chief Pricing Officer role.

Ten years on, the Pricing leadership waves continue. The table below is a chronological history of law firms that made an investment in a Pricing Director.
